My name is Christopher Sammut, part Maltese, part Australian, part Finnish. I like to think I’m a multitasker (though neuroscience might disagree 😉), connected & tech/Ux-savvy.
I’m currently an *ENFJ-A on the NERIS Type Explorer® Indicator scale i.e. a protagonist inspiring optimist, readily taking action to do what they feel is right.
I started my career as a web developer for a Forex company in Malta, Europe after completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in I.T at the University of Malta, & an MSc in Software Engineering at the University of Southampton, U.K. I then soon found myself smack in the middle of Product Management roles…a role which at that time was still in its infancy (and still is) being understood and evolving.
I’m all about Operations—because let’s be real, you can’t run a business or launch a product without a solid foundation of operational efficiency. Think of me as the behind-the-scenes wizard, making sure the gears are greased and everything runs smoother than a well-oiled machine. No magic without a little bit of order, right?
Hands-on problem solving when projects slow down or get stuck is what I do. I’m a big advocate of fail fast, learn fast, improve fast and evangelising the importance of team collaboration
My Inquisitiveness
- I’m totally obsessed with behavioral and cognitive science! One day, I’ll dive into it so deep, I might just emerge with a PhD and a wizard’s hat.
- Harry Potter? Oh, please! That’s my version of binge-watching. I could watch it so many times that I’ll start believing the Wizarding World is just a plane ride away, complete with a one-way ticket to Hogwarts.
- I’m dying for a French bulldog, but for now, I’m just here scrolling through adorable dog pics like a lonely witch waiting for her broomstick to recharge.
- My ultimate dream? To give a TED talk someday. I mean, it’s the only TED talk I haven’t watched yet! I like to call it “The Talk That Will Shock the World!” or, more realistically, “How to Pretend You’re an Expert While Really Just Wing It.” 😉
